A comprehensive oral examination includes a thorough assessment of all intraoral and extraoral tissues, both hard and soft. During the comprehensive oral examination, our dentist will undertake a physical and visual screening of the mouth and the lymph nodes. The following stage is to look at the soft and hard palate, as well as the inside and outside of the lips. Then we’ll examine the area between the molars, within the mouth, and finally the cheeks. Preventative dental care is always the main focus of this evaluation. Together with the oral check-up, our dentist also does a cancer screening.
